Attachment-Informed Therapy
Support that focuses on relationship patterns, safety, and connection.
Attachment-informed therapy draws on attachment theory — the understanding that our earliest relational experiences shape how we connect with others throughout life. The approach helps people understand their relational patterns, explore how early attachment experiences affect current relationships, and develop greater security and flexibility in how they connect with others.
Therapy grounded in attachment theory, focusing on relational patterns and safety.
What to expect: Sessions are typically 50–60 minutes. The relationship with the therapist is often itself part of the work — it provides an opportunity to notice and explore patterns as they arise in real time. The pace is typically gradual and relationship-focused. Trust in the therapeutic relationship is built carefully over time. Attachment-informed work is usually longer-term — change in relational patterns tends to be gradual. After 10–15 sessions, have an honest conversation with your therapist about what you are noticing in your relationships and whether the work feels like it is moving.
