Doula Services
Non-medical, continuous support through pregnancy, birth, or postpartum, focused on comfort, information, and advocacy.
Doulas provide continuous, non-medical support through pregnancy, labor and birth, or the postpartum period, focused on comfort, information, and emotional and physical support alongside your medical team, not in place of it. Birth doulas typically support you during labor and delivery; postpartum doulas support the weeks after, helping with newborn care, recovery, and the adjustment to a new family rhythm.
Continuous, non-medical support through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
What to expect: Birth doula support usually starts with one or more prenatal meetings to discuss your birth preferences, followed by continuous, in-person support once labor begins, however long that takes, and typically a follow-up visit after. Postpartum doula support is scheduled in shifts (a few hours at a time or overnight) over the weeks after birth. Ask about availability and backup coverage, since birth timing is unpredictable.
