Lymphatic Drainage Massage
A gentle technique intended to support circulation and fluid movement.
Lymphatic drainage massage uses very light, rhythmic pressure to support the movement of lymphatic fluid through the body. It is significantly gentler than most other massage styles. Some people explore it when they feel puffy, heavy, or generally run down — particularly after illness, surgery, or periods of inactivity.
Gentle bodywork focused on fluid movement and circulation support.
What to expect: Sessions are typically 60–90 minutes. The pressure used is very light — often described as a gentle, rhythmic skin movement. Many people find it deeply relaxing. It is quite different in feel from other forms of massage. Some people notice increased urination afterward, which is considered a normal response. For general wellbeing, 3–5 sessions is a reasonable starting point. For specific concerns like post-surgical recovery, a practitioner may recommend a longer course. Talk with them early about your goals so you can assess progress together.
