Naturopathic Integrative Care
Integrative support that may combine lifestyle, nutrition, and natural approaches.
Naturopathic medicine is a distinct healthcare profession that emphasizes the body's inherent ability to heal and focuses on identifying and addressing root causes. Licensed naturopathic doctors (NDs) complete a four-year professional degree program. They may use nutrition, botanical medicine, lifestyle counseling, homeopathy, and sometimes prescription medication depending on their scope and jurisdiction.
Integrative support that blends natural approaches, lifestyle, and nutrition.
What to expect: Initial visits are typically 60–90 minutes. NDs take extensive histories and may use laboratory testing. Treatment plans often involve dietary guidance, lifestyle changes, botanical medicine, and supplements. The relationship is typically ongoing and collaborative. Most naturopathic care involves an initial series of 3–5 visits to establish a baseline and begin a protocol. After 2–3 months, plan to review progress with your ND — what is improving, what is not, and whether the plan needs adjusting.
