Somatic Coaching
Coaching that includes body awareness alongside conversation and structure.
Somatic coaching incorporates attention to body sensations, posture, breath, and physical responses into a coaching framework. It is based on the understanding that the body holds information relevant to goals, patterns, and what is in the way — and that change is more sustainable when the body is included in the process. It is coaching, not therapy.
Coaching that integrates body awareness into the conversation and goal-setting process.
What to expect: Sessions are typically 50–60 minutes. Alongside conversation, the coach may invite attention to physical sensations, posture, or movement. This is not bodywork — there is no hands-on work. The somatic element is awareness and attention, not manipulation. Most people notice something shifting in somatic awareness within 4–6 sessions. After that point, check in with your coach about what you are noticing in your body in daily life — not just in sessions — and whether the somatic element is producing real change.
